The Ladder Buckle for Lashing Straps JD40 is designed for heavy-duty cargo securing applications with a breaking strength of up to 5000kg. Made from high-carbon steel and heat-treated for improved toughness, it is further protected with a galvanized surface finish to resist rust and corrosion in harsh transport environments. The product is certified under both AAR and DNV-GL standards, ensuring reliable performance in international logistics.
Its unique ladder-shaped design allows woven lashing to be wrapped more securely with multiple contact points, increasing friction and helping prevent slippage after tightening. It is specifically used with woven lashing systems to provide stable and consistent load restraint during transport.

Why Choose the JD40 Ladder Buckle for Lashing Straps
that's our services
Lorem ipsum dolor, sit amet consectetur adipisicing elit.

1. Heavy-duty strength for demanding loads
The Ladder Buckle for Lashing Straps JD40 offers a system strength of up to 5000kg when used with JW200 40mm woven lashing, which has a linear strength of 5000kg. This combination provides reliable load restraint for heavy machinery, steel products, timber, and other high-value cargo.
2. Better grip, less chance of slipping
A secure connection depends on friction as much as strength. That's why the buckle is finished with a galvanized coating that provides additional surface grip while helping the lashing stay firmly locked under tension throughout transportation.
3. Built to last in tough environments
Each buckle is made from high-carbon steel and goes through a heat-treatment process to improve toughness before galvanizing. This not only makes the buckle more resistant to deformation under heavy loads, but also helps the protective coating bond more firmly to the steel, improving long-term resistance to rust and corrosion.
4. Simple to use and economical
The ladder-shaped design makes threading the woven lashing quick and straightforward, allowing a single operator to secure cargo efficiently. As long as the buckle shows no cracks or permanent deformation after use, it can be reused, helping reduce packaging costs over time.

Applications of Ladder Buckle for Lashing Straps
The Ladder Buckle for Lashing Straps is widely used with woven lashing systems to secure heavy and oversized cargo throughout transportation and storage. Its high strength and reliable locking performance make it suitable for a wide range of industries.
Container Shipping
Ideal for securing cargo inside 20ft and 40ft dry containers, open-top containers, and flat racks. It performs reliably during long ocean voyages, where cargo is exposed to vibration, salt air, and changing weather conditions.
Rail Transport
Suitable for securing steel products, machinery, timber, and other heavy loads on rail wagons. It helps keep cargo stable during braking, cornering, and long-distance railway transportation.
Ro-Ro and Break Bulk Shipping
Commonly used to secure oversized equipment and irregular cargo on decks or in cargo holds. When paired with woven lashing, it provides a safer alternative to steel strapping without damaging painted or finished surfaces.
Road Freight
Used on trucks and trailers to secure heavy equipment, industrial products, and oversized loads. The woven lashing system maintains consistent tension even on rough roads and during sudden stops.
Steel and Metal Products
Suitable for steel coils, pipes, rebar, structural steel, aluminum sheets, and other metal products. Unlike steel straps, woven lashing will not scratch coated surfaces or leave rust stains on cargo.
Heavy Machinery
A reliable solution for construction equipment, machine tools, generators, molds, and other large industrial equipment. The woven lashing system works well with irregular shapes and sharp edges while providing stable load restraint.
Timber and Wood Industry
Widely used for logs, lumber, plywood, and engineered wood products. The ladder buckle keeps the lashing securely locked even when timber naturally settles during transport.
Export Pallets
Suitable for palletized export cargo moving through warehouses, ports, and distribution centers. It helps keep loads stable throughout international shipping and handling.
Construction Sites
Used for bundling and transporting reinforcing bars, pipes, and prefabricated building materials. The galvanized buckle performs well in outdoor environments and withstands daily job site conditions.

How to Use the JD40 Ladder Buckle for Lashing Straps
The Ladder Buckle for Lashing Straps JD40 is designed to be used together with woven lashing. The system works in a simple loop structure, and once you get familiar with it, the operation becomes very straightforward.
1. Start with the first strap end
Insert the first end of the woven lashing from the bottom into the middle opening of the buckle.
2. Wrap around the left side
Guide the strap from below around the left-side opening of the buckle, keeping it aligned with the ladder structure.
3. Pass back through the center
Bring the strap up and push it through the middle opening again from above.
4. Pre-tighten the loop
Pull the strap to remove slack and let it form a firm loop around the buckle.
5. Position the second strap end
Take the strap around the cargo and insert the second end into the middle opening from below.
6. Repeat the left-side routing
Run it around the left buckle opening again from the bottom.
7. Back through the center
Push the strap through the middle opening from above once more.
8. Final tightening
Pull both sides evenly until the lashing is fully tightened and the load is secured.

In real applications, the tensioning process can be done using manual, pneumatic, or electric tensioners. Different tools can be selected depending on workload, efficiency requirements, and on-site working conditions, which makes the system suitable for almost all types of cargo securing scenarios.
Deliver, shipping and serving
Our client base can take advantage of an extensive variety of transportation alternatives.
Global express services-such as those supplied by FedEx, UPS, DHL, TNT, and EMS-come with a relatively steeper cost, but their key merit lies in prompt door-to-door delivery, which generally takes 7 to 10 days. Air shipping also ensures speedy delivery, with a duration of 8 to 12 days, and it is more budget-conscious than express options. However, a notable prerequisite for this choice is that clients have to retrieve their goods from the airport by themselves. Among the three transportation approaches, sea shipping is the most economical option. Nevertheless, it has a lengthier transit period, and clients bear the responsibility of collecting their items independently from the destination port.
