Woven belts are primarily made from polyester, nylon, cotton, or wire, each of which imparts distinct properties to the belt. For example, polyester offers high abrasion and UV resistance, making it suitable for outdoor use; while nylon, due to its excellent elasticity and strength, is often used in applications requiring high tensile forces. The choice of material depends on the specific application. For example, industrial lifting belts require high strength, while decorative woven belts prioritize appearance and tactile feel.

The core of the forming process is weaving technology. Common weave styles include plain, twill, and satin. Plain weaves offer a compact structure and are suitable for applications requiring high stability; twill weaves provide greater flexibility and ductility; and satin weaves offer a smooth surface and are often used for decorative belts. Modern weaving equipment often utilizes automated technology, enabling precise control of weaving density and width to ensure product consistency.

After weaving, post-processing is equally critical. Heat setting enhances the dimensional stability of the weaving belt, preventing deformation during use; coating or impregnation enhances abrasion resistance, water resistance, or antistatic properties. For specialized applications, such as those requiring fire or corrosion resistance, additional surface treatment is required.

In short, the weaving process is a systematic process that integrates materials science, mechanical engineering, and chemical processing. By optimizing weaving techniques and post-processing steps, high-quality weaving belts can be produced to meet the needs of diverse industries, and their importance in modern manufacturing is growing.
